Cast wood | What is cast wood?
Moulding wood is a synthetic wood used for casting in, for example, silicone rubber moulds. It is a liquid polyester resin with a wood-like texture. Once cured, the moulding wood can be worked in the same way as wood. When the moulding wood is treated with a stain and/or coloured, it produces a realistic imitation of wood.
