Surester®

Surester® is V-Sure's proprietary resin range, developed as a styrene-free alternative to traditional polyester resins. The Surester® range consists of two variants, each designed for specific applications.

Surester® ECO Resin

Surester® ECO Resin is a virtually odourless vinyl ester resin specifically developed for applications where odour reduction is important. Thanks to its styrene-free formulation, it can be processed comfortably in workshops, educational facilities, studios and other indoor environments where working comfort is a priority.

The resin is processed in the same way as conventional polyester resin and is suitable for laminating, casting and the production of lightweight, strong and water-resistant composite parts in combination with glass fibre reinforcement. It can also be applied directly to EPS and PS foam (expanded polystyrene) without damaging the substrate.

Surester® Teraf Resin

Surester® Teraf Resin was developed for professional composite manufacturers looking for maximum processing efficiency and productivity. This styrene-free laminating resin offers excellent fibre wet-out and is suitable for hand lay-up, spray-up processing and filament winding.

It is used for the production of technical laminates, tanks, piping systems, machine components, industrial mouldings and glass fibre reinforced composite structures. Surester® Teraf cures tack-free and can be combined with standard gelcoats and topcoats.
