EVA | What is EVA?
EVA stands for ethyl vinyl acetate. It is a random copolymer. A copolymer is formed when at least two different monomer units are combined in the polymer chain. In a random copolymer, the different monomer units are arranged in a random order within the polymer chain. EVA is a type of plastic film used as a plastic roofing membrane. Plastic roofing membranes (ECB, EVA and PVC) are used as an alternative to bituminous roofing membranes.
