Crystic Glosscoat is a sprayable polyester coating designed to give prototypes, patterns and moulds a smooth, high-gloss finish. Once cured, the coating can be sanded and polished to create a smooth surface with an intense gloss.
Glosscoat forms part of a practical finishing system and is used in combination with Crystic Primecoat Polyester Coating ISO/NPG 5 kg. Primecoat serves as the base coat for smoothing and building up the surface of the prototype, after which Glosscoat provides the durable high-gloss finish. Glosscoat can also be mixed with Primecoat to improve the gloss and gloss retention of the base coat.
Thanks to its fast curing and good sanding properties, this system is suitable for professional pattern and mould making where a sleek, smooth and high-gloss result is required.
