Polishing boat surfaces

How to restore shine with Sealine products

Over time, the 2-component paint (2K) on your boat can become dull due to UV rays or saltwater exposure. Fortunately, Sealine products are specially developed to restore the original shine.

Always start by cleaning the surface thoroughly. Use the C1 Bottom Cleaner to remove dirt and salt residues. Follow with the SL Cleaner Degreaser to create a clean, grease-free surface.

If the surface is just dull, apply S1 One Step Cut & High Gloss Polish. This ultra-soft polishing compound restores gloss quickly without damaging paint or gelcoat. For more worn-out areas, start with SL One Step Heavy Cut & Gloss Polish to eliminate heavy oxidation or deep dullness.

Want more shine? Finish with Extra Shine Polish for a mirror-like gloss. Using the correct polishing pad is essential - its softness or hardness influences the final result. All Sealine products can be applied by hand or with a machine. Machine polishing is faster but keep an eye on the RPM - too high, and the paste may burn.

With the right Sealine products and proper application, your boat’s painted surfaces will shine like new again - season after season.
