Making rubber moulds with Silicone NL

In this video, product expert Marc explains how you can make rubber moulds quickly and easily using V-Sure's tear-resistant Silicone NL moulding compound.

He explains step by step which preparations you need to make, which products you require and how you can achieve a perfect result time after time. V-Sure's Silicone NL is a tear resistant cast rubber, with a tested tensile strength and lasting elasticity. The Silicone NL offers a long-lasting result. V-Sure Silicone NL is moreover a self-levelling silicone rubber. It is therefore ideal for the production of simple to complex multi-part moulds. You can then pour in this mould rubber with polyester, epoxy, polyurethane or zellane, amongst other things.

Epoxy resin BK in combination with a reinforcement fabric (carbon, glass fibre, aramid) allows you to produce moulded parts such as model aircraft or boats without any problems.

Epoxy resin BK also offers the possibility of carrying out durable repairs to your surfboard or sailing boat, for example.

Primer G4 Universal Adhesion Layer

V-Sure Primer G4 Universal Adhesion Primer is a PU resin that reacts to air humidity. V-Sure Primer G4 has limited UV resistance, but is an extremely scratch-resistant primer that is also solvent and chemical resistant. V-Sure Primer G4 can also be used on any porous substrate to improve the adhesion and then worked on with polyester.

Brushable Filler for 3D Printed Parts

V-Sure Polyester spray putty makes sure that the print lines are filled and you can quickly sand them to get a completely smooth finish. Afterwards, you can finish it with almost every paint. This sprayable finishing putty is used after a polyester repair to obtain a smooth finish. Moreover, the polyester spray putty can also be used directly on wood, metal, concrete and 3D printed models.

Carbon is a reinforcing material that can easily be used when processing laminates with epoxy or vinylester. Carbon fibre can be found in a twill structure that makes it easy to cover round shapes, perfect for the boat and car industries. Kevlar-carbon fibre distinguishes itself from other reinforcement materials by its strong mechanical properties.

Acrylic topcoat colourless for a matt finish

V-Sure Acryl 1K topcoat colourless matt is an acrylic polymer that dries quickly and is walkable. This sealing coat provides a matt, scratch-resistant, UV-resistant protective layer that adheres well to most substrates, but especially to natural stone and the Flexo cast floor. Excellent resistance to solvents and chemicals, diluted acids and alkalis.

Steelbond Epoxy Kneadable Metal

You can also apply the V-Sure Steelbond under water and then tap thread into it. V-Sure Steelbond is an epoxy, filled with metallic fillers. Steelbond is as easy to process as putty and after curing can be worked like metal. This is done by sanding, drilling or milling.

Eco Resin Liquid Styrene-free Surester Resin

This Surester resin is the replacement for polyester resin. The processing and material properties are equivalent to those of polyester, but with the advantage that this resin is virtually odourless and completely free of solvents (styrene), which means it can also be used on EPS foam (isomo).

V-Sure Ecohars is a specially developed Surester resin, free of solvents and styrene. This resin is low in odour and therefore ideal for use in studios and workshops, without causing odour nuisance.

Casting with Glosscoat epoxy
