With V-Sure's Tank Coating, you can professionally restore the fuel tank of your scooter, motorbike or vintage car. This petrol- and oil-resistant coating seals small holes and prevents rust. Ideal for oldtimer tanks, especially now that Bio-Ethanol increases the risk of oxidation. Tank coating V-Sure offers a long-term and effective solution without the need for a new tank. This 2-component, solvent-free coating is odourless and fluorescent green in colour. This makes it easily detectable in the tank.

Applications
Can be used to coat petrol tanks consisting of metal or polyester. Can be applied by pouring into the tank openings and then rotating the tank. Makes small holes leak-tight and protects the inside of the tank from corrosion. Should be applied in 2 layers for optimal protection. Heat-resistant up to 150°C. Is suitable for both petrol 95 (E10) and 98 (E5).
Usage
Ensure a dry, clean and dust-free surface using cleaner MP-GP (and carbide grit.) Mix the two components in a 100:40 weight ratio. Pour the mixture into the empty tank and rotate the tank so that the coating remains everywhere. Check adh the fluorescent colour to ensure there is enough material on the surface. Repeat this treatment the following day. Can also be applied with a brush in an open tank. One thick coat is usually sufficient. Complete curing after 7 days, then fill with petrol.
